1. What LobiSafe is
LobiSafe is a community tool within the Lobi Solutions everything-app. It helps drivers in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland & Labrador, and Ontario stay organized and informed — exchanging the information required after a motor-vehicle collision, optionally recording a LobiSafe driving score (an informational record that does not set or affect any insurance premium), and estimating an approximate insurance premium for their own planning. It is provided by Lobi Solutions (“we”, “us”).
2. What LobiSafe is not
LobiSafe is not a lawyer, not an insurer, and not a broker. It does not give legal advice, does not give insurance advice, does not sell, price, bind, or underwrite insurance, does not act as an insurance agent or broker, and does not determine fault or liability. Any premium figure shown is a rough approximation for your own planning only — not a quote, offer, or guarantee of any price or coverage. AI-generated content (severity estimates, drafted notices, consistency summaries, premium approximations) is labelled with a confidence level and may be wrong. Always verify against the actual statute, your insurance policy, and, where needed, a qualified lawyer or a licensed insurance professional. In any collision involving injury or death, contact emergency services and police first.
3. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to use LobiSafe only for lawful accident-exchange and personal purposes, and not to attempt to access another person’s data, brute-force exchange or verification codes, or disrupt the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you enter and for meeting your own statutory reporting obligations.
4. No admission of fault
LobiSafe is designed to help you share the legally required minimum without admitting liability, consistent with standard automobile-policy conditions. Nothing exchanged through LobiSafe constitutes an admission of fault by any party. Fault is determined by insurers under the applicable Fault Determination Rules.
5. Accounts and eligibility
You must be of legal driving age in your province and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for activity under your account. Sign-in is by one-time email code or a password you set; keep access to your email and credentials secure.
6. Service availability
LobiSafe is offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, and the service may be unavailable at times. We do not guarantee that an exchange, packet, premium approximation, or AI output will be accepted by, or match, any insurer, adjuster, court, or authority.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lobi Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of LobiSafe, including any claim outcome, coverage decision, or reporting failure. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service (currently zero) in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Termination
You may delete your account and data at any time from Privacy & records → Delete my account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
